1. 30-Day Service Support Window
LaptopCareExpert provides a 30-day service support window on all laptop, MacBook, and desktop repairs. This support applies directly to the specific hardware failure we serviced. For example:
- Display Replacement: Covers grid lines, flickering, or display failure. Does not cover physical drops, screen cracks, or new liquid damage post-service.
- Battery Replacement: Covers battery holding charge or device recognizing cells.
- Logic Board Repair: Covers specific power chips or circuits serviced under the microscope.
If the serviced issue persists within 30 days, our technician will visit your location to inspect the diagnostic. If we cannot restore functionality, a service cancellation is registered.
2. Diagnostic Policy
We follow an open diagnostic process. If our technical team inspects your motherboard or hardware and determines that the circuit is unrepairable, or if we do not succeed in restoring functionality, there is no service charge for the labor.
If a device is determined to be unrepairable, there are no diagnostic or labor charges.
3. Replacement Components
All screens, keyboards, charging jacks, fans, and batteries fitted by our technicians are sourced from established manufacturers. Replacement parts carry their respective manufacturer warranty parameters (ranging from 6 months to 5 years). We prioritize fitting quality-checked parts for stability.
4. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
Our team follows standard hardware review routines that do not require access to your personal files. Storage drives can be detached or password-locked upon request, keeping all private database items secure.
